NOVRUZ HOLIDAY
The Novruz holiday is included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Every year, at a festive event, starting from the Maiden’s Tower and continuing along Baku Boulevard (also known as National Seaside Park), all the regions of our republic are represented by their national traditions, samples of cuisine, agricultural products and crafts. This holiday entered the life of the Azerbaijani people from ancient times, giving people a sense of confidence in the future. The majestic Novruz, which is a national holiday in Azerbaijan, is celebrated in many Turkic states, and is included in TURKSOY, UNESCO and ISESCO.
